The fourth Maintenance Technologies Congress and Exposition, organized by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB,), was held October 22-25, 2009 in Denizli at Pamukkale University, Kınıklı Congress and Culture Center.
The main theme of the Congress was "Engineering in Maintenance".
myTECHNIC's Technology and Business Development Director Mr. Can Erel was the Keynote Speaker.
In his address, Mr. Erel highlighted the main issues affecting the aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector and the importance of human resources to the sector. Mr. Erel also spoke about the sector's current dynamics and Turkey's national aspirations of becoming the leader in the regional MRO market.
