A Technical Services, Material Sales/Lease, and Hangar Slot Allocation Purchase Agreement, valid for five years, was signed by Dr. Ismail Demir (General Manager) and Dr. Fuat Oktay (Executive V.P. Commerce) on behalf of Turkish Technic and by Mr. Daglar Cizmeci (Board Member) and Mr. Cankut Bagana (Board Member) on behalf of myTECHNIC on January 6th, 2009.
The agreement covers the purchase of technical services, material sales/lease arrangements and hangar slot allocation based on the capacity requirements of both companies.
Dr. Ismail Demir, the General Manager of Turkish Technic said, 'Aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul industry is being nominated as one of the leading sectors in Turkey. Turkish Technic, pioneer and leader of this sector, continues its activities being aware of the responsibility for more contribution to Turkish economy. Working in harmony with the other actors of the sector, the agreement signed with the new Turkish actor myTECHNIC, creates an important opportunity in order to meet our periodical increasing capacity needs. I sincerely believe that the agreement would be beneficial for Turkish Civil Aviation Industry.'
After the signing of the agreement, Mr. Daglar Cizmeci expressed his optimism for Turkey's MRO sector saying "I hope that the technical service agreement signed between myTECHNIC and Turkish Technic will be beneficial for the civil aviation sector of our country. This agreement is an important step towards Turkey establishing itself as a maintenance center for the region. In working together, mutual trust will be established, experience and know-how will be spread between a greater number of individuals and the efficient utilization of these skilled workers will contribute to a more effective, efficient and productive MRO sector in Turkey."
